Busy B's Professional Pet Sitting

Our most popular service (and my personal favorite) is pet sitting. As a pet mommy myself, I know that when you're away, your pets still want to play. The thought of boarding your pets isn't pleasant (the smells, the sounds, cramped quarters, parasites and diseases YUCK). With my in-home pet services, pet parents no longer have to worry about their pet's physical and emotional health, well-being and safety. Your pets stay in their familiar surroundings and maintain their normal routine. As a pet lover, I treat you furry babies as my own. I give them the playtime, love and affection they deserve while also caring for and cleaning up after them. Not every pet is the same so I intuitively offer individual attention in the manner your pet prefers, whether it be belly rubs, throwing the ball, ear scratches, blankets fluffed, turning on animal planet - their pampering is my pleasure! I can also bring in your mail, newspapers, water your plants, and rotate lights and blinds so your home looks lived in while you're away. If request I will send you text updates & picture messages of your pet while you're away.

Initial Consultation

I offer a FREE Initial consultation in your home.
During this visit  we will discuss your pet & home care needs & complete the
necessary paperwork while your pet and I get familiar with each other. 

 

Initial meet & greet - No charge

Additional consultations - $30

 

I prefer 2 keys kept on file in a secured location for future bookings. 

Should you choose not to keep a key on file, there will be a $25 charge for each drop off/pick up.

In Home Pet Care

Mileage/Travel Time: First 10 miles are included with service.

TERMS, POLICIES & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
 

The client hereto agrees as follows:

  • Busy B’s Professional Pet Sitting & Errand Service (hereinafter referred to as Busy B’s) and its representatives agree to dog walking, home, and pet sitting services in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims against Busy B’s, its employees or assigns, except those arising from proven negligence of the pet sitter.

  • For the purposes of this document, the terms Client, Owner, Pet Owner, and Customer are synonymous with the person contracting services for one or more domestic animals.

  • Pet Owner must have legal rights to place the animals in the care of Pet Sitters, Kennels, and Veterinary Clinics.  The Pet Sitter cannot service a home with “Visiting” pets or animals that do not belong to the resident of the service site without separate sets of agreement forms, including a Legal Considerations Agreement, accepted & signed by each rightful owner(s). 

  • Reservations are not held until a deposit of 50% service total is received by Busy B’s or special arrangements are agreed upon by both parties. Balance is due before services begin. A $5 per visit late fee will be assessed to services that are not paid in advance of service begin date. Reservations during holiday periods require payment in full at time of booking. 

  • In the event of additional services or other costs, payment is expected upon return unless otherwise agreed upon. If you are on a weekly contract, payments are due each Friday. If not paid within 5 days of the completion of services a late charge of $40 will be applied. Future services will not be performed until past balances have been paid.

  • Cancellations – any refunds (minus the 50% non-refundable deposit) will be processed as a credit on account and can be used toward future services up to one year after cancelation. After one year, the credit is forfeited.

    • 0 - 72 hours prior to any service, and/or Holiday periods: Full payment due.  

    • 3 - 14 days prior to service:  75% of service total is due. (25% credit memo if paid up)

    • 15 days or more prior to service (excluding holidays):  Only deposit due. (50% credit memo if paid up)

  • Reservations are made to plan sitter availability, therefore, clients returning home early will not receive credit or refunds.

  • If Busy B’s cannot access client’s property, client will be charged for the full cost of the services.

  • Busy B’s reserves the right to make all final decisions on services and related costs.

  • Key must be provided at the initial consultation (keys required for back up even if electronic access is given) & will be kept secure on file unless otherwise agreed upon. After initial consultation there will be a $25 charge for each key pick up & drop off by Busy B’s representative or client.  Busy B’s reserves the right to destroy client keys after two years of inactivity.

  • A $65 fee is assessed on all returned checks in addition to any and all bank fees attributed to the returned check. All fees are due promptly and must be paid via cash, money order, PayPal only after 1st incident.

  • Pet Owner is responsible for supplying the necessary, safe equipment/supplies needed for care of their pet(s), including but not limited to a sturdy, well-fit harness, collar, leash, etc…) for walks or in case of emergencies, firmly affixed vaccination tags, a lead rope or leash, pooper-scoopers, litter boxes, food, cleaning supplies, medicines, pet food, and cat litter.  Pet Owner authorizes any purchases necessary for the satisfactory performance of duties.  Pet Owner agrees to be responsible for the payment of such items, as well as service fees for obtaining items, and will reimburse Busy B’s within 10 days of all purchases made.

  • Due to the nature of this mobile business, Busy B’s does not guarantee exact visit times, but will aim for requested times of day, (i.e. morning, mid day, evening, bedtime, after hours).

  • Busy B’s will make every effort to show up, in a timely fashion, for every scheduled visit. However, in the case of an emergency, inclement weather, or a natural disaster, Busy B’s, at its sole discretion and/or for the safety of its employees, may cancel or adjust the schedule of service as necessary. It is suggested that arrangements be made with someone to evacuate your pets in case of a disaster or weather related event/crisis/”Code Red”. Busy B’s will definitely try to see to your pets safety/care should such events occur, but cannot guarantee it. In the case of emergency cancellation, client, or one of the client’s named emergency contacts will be notified immediately.

  • Business and service hours fall between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and services are usually completed during this time with the exception of unforeseen circumstances.  Services may be available by appointment beyond business hours at an additional fee.

  • Pet Owner is responsible for pet-proofing house and yard, and the security fences/gates/latches. Busy B’s will not be responsible for the safety of any pets and will not be liable for the injury, disappearance, death, or fines of any pet with unsupervised access to the outdoors.

  • Busy B’s is authorized to seek any emergency veterinarian assistance needed during visits, at the cost of the client, from any veterinarian as chosen by the sitter.

  • Busy B’s will not perform any work which is illegal or puts Busy B’s in danger.

  • Busy B’s reserves the right to deny service or terminate service because of safety concerns, financial concerns, or inappropriate or uncomfortable situations.

  • Busy B’s reserves the right to terminate this contract if the Pet Sitter, in his/her sole discretion determines that Owner’s pet poses a danger to the health or safety of itself, other pets, other people, or the Pet Sitter. If concerns prohibit the Pet Sitter from caring for the pet, the Owner authorizes the pet to be placed in a kennel (or previously arranged locale), with all charges to be the responsibility of the Owner.

  • Client attests to the fact that all licenses and vaccinations required by the state of Texas and the city and county of residence, are current according to the law.

  • Client will be liable for all medical expenses and damages resulting from an injury to the pet sitter, other animals, or other persons by the pet. Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless and defend Busy B’s in the event of a claim by any person injured by the pet.

  • Busy B’s is not responsible for messes or damage to the home caused by pet or pet accidents. Busy B’s will attempt to clean up potty accidents within reason. If pet sitter deems that insufficient potty breaks have been scheduled, owner will be notified of the need to add additional visits in the future.

  • Incidents resulting in a need to stay past the allotted visit time will be billed at time and a half the scheduled visit rate.

  • Busy B’s is not responsible for damage to the home (inside or out) beyond the control of the Pet Sitter.  This includes, but is not limited to leaks, electrical problems, and acts of nature.  In these situations, Busy B’s will attempt to contact the client before making a subjective decision on dealing with the problem. In the event client cannot be contacted, client authorizes Busy B’s to use their best judgment and to be available at a rate of time and a half of the current basic pet sitting rate to oversee the circumstances. Client agrees to authorize Busy B’s to handle any emergencies that may arise.  All repairs and related fees (including Special Service emergency service time and coordination fees) will be paid by the client, or fully reimbursed to Busy B’s within 14 days.

  • Busy B’s accepts no responsibility for security of the premises or loss, damages/loss, or injury, loss, or death of client’s pet (s) if other individuals have access to a client’s home, or if the home is not properly secured.

  • Busy B’s is not responsible for any damage to property of the client or others unless such damage is caused by the negligent act of the Pet Sitter. 

  • Busy B’s is not liable for any loss or damage in the event a burglary or other crime that should occur while under this contract.  Pet Owner agrees to properly secure home prior to leaving the premises.  Busy B’s will re-secure the home to the best of its ability at the end of each visit.  While keys are in the possession of a Pet Sitter, they will be either on the Sitter’s physical person, or be properly stored in an undisclosed location. 

  • Busy B’s is not responsible for sickness, escape, injury, loss or death of Client’s pet(s) unless caused through negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Busy B’s.

  • Busy B’s is not liable for the life/health of plants left in our care.

  • All personal and credit card information will remain confidential.

  • Client agrees to notify Busy B’s of any concerns within 24 hours of return.

  • This signed document gives Busy B’s and its representative’s authorization to enter the client’s listed address as needed to perform the services as outlined in the Service Agreement and elsewhere.

  • Pricing, ad-ons and surcharges are outlined on page one of the Pet Care Service Agreement and are subject to change. The most current rates are posted and updated on the Busy B’s website at www.busyberrands.biz and are subject to change anytime without prior notice.

  • Client authorizes this contract to be valid approval from date signed and for future services so as to permit Busy B’s to accept all telephone, online, mail or email reservations and enter client’s home without additional signed contracts or written authorization. Before any future bookings, client should check our website for any updates to rates, terms and conditions. By booking services, client agrees to any updated fees, terms or changes posted on our website under the heading Terms, relayed verbally to the client or mailed/emailed in writing to the client..

  • The terms of this document apply to all pets owned by the client, including any and all new pets that the client obtains on or after the date this document was signed which services are reserved, at any and all locations the owner designates for service.
